-Yesterday an email was sent outlining a new policy regarding Gizmo watches. Please know this policy applies to all Gretna Schools (not just GES), and will be put in place starting on Monday. Feel free to contact Mr. Rinaldi with any questions regarding this policy.
-2nd quarter report cards are now available to view online through the parent portal. This is the same site used to update health and demographic information and is located on the Gretna Elementary website. Under the 'For Parents' section, click on 'Parent-Student Records' and enter your User ID and Password on the 'Login' page. Please contact the school office with any questions. If your student receives special education services, their progress report will be sent home on Friday.
-Gretna Public Schools will be holding a Preschool Open House on Thursday January 31st from 5:00-6:30 p.m. We will soon be accepting applications for the 2019-2020 school year. If your child is four years old by July 31, 2019, they are eligible to attend. For more information, please click here.
-Plans for the 2019-2020 kindergarten class have begun. Letters will be mailed on February 1st to those families with children turning 5 on or before July 31, 2019. A parent meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 26th, 2019 and Kindergarten Round-up will be Friday, March 22nd, 2019. If someone you know has a child that will be eligible for kindergarten, please share these dates with them.
-Help wanted! We need more help in our school kitchens. Nights, weekends, summers and all school breaks are off! No previous experience is required, job training is provided. Applications are online OR you can apply in person at the Administration Building.
