-Thank you to everyone who came to Parent/Teacher conferences. We appreciate all of the support we get from our families!
-Due to recent events, it is a good time to review our district crisis plans with parents. This begins with a controlled access system. The doors remained locked throughout the school day and visitors must be buzzed in through a video intercom system. In addition, we follow the Standard Response Protocol, which was founded by the “I LOVE YOU GUYS FOUNDATION” out of Colorado. In all situations, we use one of four responses. Our response is directed by local law enforcement or the judgement of school administration. Students are educated and drilled on all four responses.
SHELTER- Most commonly used in a weather emergency.
EVACUATE- Fire Drill.
LOCKOUT- Business as usual inside the school.
LOCKDOWN- Locks, Lights, Out of Sight.
