Important Reminders

-Plans for the 2023/2024 kindergarten class have begun.  Letters were mailed to those families with children turning 5 on or before July 31, 2023.  A parent meeting will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2023 and Kindergarten Round-up will be Friday, February 24, 2023.  If someone you know has a child that will be eligible for kindergarten, please share these dates with them.

-This year you can purchase Candy Grams online at: https://gretnaschoolsfoundation.org/how-to-help/post-prom-candy-grams.html.  You can also print and fill out this flyer and return it to your school's office or using this QR code.  All orders are due by Friday, February 10th.  This is a fundraiser for the GHS Post Prom committee.

-Ms. Pilant is in need of unscented baby wipes in the art room.  If you are able to donate them, please have your child give them to Ms. Pilant or the school office.  Thank you!

-Dismissal is a very busy time in the office and classrooms.  If there are any changes in your child's dismissal routine, please contact the office before 2:15 p.m.

-The temperatures are changing! Please dress your child
appropriately for the outdoor temperatures. We have outdoor
recess when the temperature and/or wind chill is 10 degrees or

above.Your child is encouraged to bring a change of clothing of their own to keep in their locker or backpack.  Some students have more mishaps than others and may need to bring additional items.  A supply of clean clothing is available in the health office, however, your child will be more comfortable in their own clothing.
